Incoming email for cloud version
Recently we have experienced a serious issue with one of our servers hosting some of our cloud user accounts. Despite our best intentions in instructing our clients on the best practice in setting up the incoming email settings, some have ignored these instructions and have allowed unscrutinised email messages to be downloaded and stored on our servers. A few of those messages contained viruses and malware links which jeopardised the security of all other accounts hosted on the same server.
Because of this, we have taken the decision to disable incoming email functionality for all cloud-based accounts. This action ensures that the servers will not be compromised. The downside is that you will not be able to view incoming email messages within RanFab and will need to rely on your email clients to access those.
We apologise for the inconvenience that this action may cause some users but it has been taken in the best interest of all those that use the cloud option.
